At long, long last, Netflix has confirmed the official Heartstopper season 2 release date, and Nick Nelson and Charlie Spring will be back on our screens very soon for their next adventure. Volume One and Two of the Heartstopper graphic novel series were covered in season 1, so it's a good guess that the plot of Volume Three and Four will be a heavy part of next season. Of course, TV adaptations often deviate from the original material. But if it does stick to the original, the show will cover Nick and Charlie encountering relationship problems after some smooth sailing and going on a trip to Paris with their fellow students.

The official synopsis for Heartstopper season 2 was revealed by Netflix on April 24, 2023, and reads as follows: “Nick and Charlie navigate their new relationship; Tara and Darcy face unforeseen challenges and Tao and Elle work out if they can ever be more than just friends. With exams on the horizon, a school trip to Paris, and a prom to plan, the gang has a lot to juggle as they journey through the next stages of life, love, and friendship.” Looks like the fan hunches were right - we're going to Paris!
