This movie is a modern twist on the classic tale of a mermaid who dreams of becoming human and falls in love with a handsome prince. But this time, there's more than just a wicked sea witch to deal with. There's also a mysterious corporation that wants to exploit the mermaid's magical voice for their own nefarious purposes. Find out in The Little Mermaid 2023, a movie that will make you laugh, cry, and sing along!
We don't know about you, but we are super excited to see this movie. We grew up watching the original animated version and we loved the songs and the characters. We are curious to see how they will update the story for the 21st century and what new surprises they will add. We heard that there will be some new songs written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the genius behind Hamilton and Moana. We can't wait to hear them!

We also heard that the cast is amazing. The mermaid is played by Halle Bailey, a talented singer and actress who is part of the R&B duo Chloe x Halle. She has a beautiful voice and we think she will bring a lot of charm and personality to the role. The prince is played by Jonah Hauer-King, a handsome British actor who has starred in several TV shows and movies. He has a charming smile and we think he will have great chemistry with Halle. The sea witch is played by Melissa McCarthy, one of my favorite comedians. She is hilarious and we think she will make a great villain. The mysterious corporation is led by Javier Bardem, an Oscar-winning actor who can play both good and evil characters with ease. He is very charismatic and we think he will make a formidable opponent for the mermaid.
The movie is directed by Rob Marshall, who has a lot of experience in making musicals. He directed Chicago, Into the Woods, and Mary Poppins Returns. He knows how to create stunning visuals and choreography that will make you feel like you are part of the action. He also knows how to balance humor and drama, which is important for a movie like this.
The Little Mermaid 2023 is a movie that promises to be a fun and magical experience for the whole family. It has everything you could want in a Disney movie: romance, adventure, comedy, music, and magic. It also has a message of following your dreams and being true to yourself, which is something we can all relate to. So don't miss this movie when it comes out this summer! It will be a splash-tacular time!
