Tom will undoubtedly find himself in yet another awkward circumstance or come up with a plan to boost Sanditon's economy and population. He has meetings with potential investors, one of them being the grouchy banker Rowleigh Pryce, played by James Bolam, who has a past with Lady Denham.
If Edward were to suffer the loss of his commission in the army and be forced to return to Lady Denham with his hands on his knees, praying for another chance, she would give him the screws. You may expect her to torture you in both enjoyable and entertaining ways. Will Edward eventually realize that he has been mistaken the entire time?
